What You’ll Do:

Develop and implement automation scripts using JavaScript, VBA, Python, or other scripting tools to optimize CAD design tasks.

Basic Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields (preferably in 3rd year or higher).

Basic familiarity with CAD software such as PTC Creo, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar platforms.

Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as Python, VBA, Java, HTML, CSS, or others.

The Mechanical Design Engineer Co-op Student will support the development of innovative, multidisciplinary products that incorporate plastics, metals, optics, and electromechanical components and mechanisms. Qualifications
-
Currently enrolled as a second- or third-year undergraduate student in an accredited post-secondary mechanical, metallurgical, aerospace or industrial engineering program.

Theoretical knowledge of product/machine design techniques, practical experience is a benefit

Theoretical knowledge of manufacturing processes (Investment casting, Aluminum casting), practical experience is a benefit.

Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills

Strong technical and computer skills, specifically in Excel and PowerPoint

Ability to multitask effectively and have good time management skills
